My background is in art—I started drawing as a child, studied fine art and animation at university in South Korea, and worked as a full-time street artist from 2000 to 2008. During that time, I collaborated on cool projects with brands like Nike, Vans, and Reebok, and even got the chance to showcase my graffiti skills at public events!

When I moved to Australia and New Zealand, immigrant life threw me a curveball, but it also became the turning point in my journey into commercial art—graphic design! I studied graphic design in New Zealand and kicked off my career designing t-shirts for Mr. Vintage in 2012. It was such an exciting and inspiring time, learning about Kiwi culture and working with an awesome team.

Since then, I've been fortunate to work across a variety of industries, gaining a wide range of experience. I've done photo retouching for Rachael Hale, designed packaging and handled rebranding for LifeStream, Nature’s Way, and SUP, created digital marketing and content as a freelancer, and worked on billboards and video content for Westgate Shopping Centre and Samsung.

When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me outdoors—hiking, paddleboarding, or just soaking up the beauty of nature. I absolutely love adventure, staying active, and connecting with amazing people along the way!
